Anca Crisan

Welcome to this page. I applaud your courage for not giving up, for searching for ways to a better life.

Traumatic events can shatter our sense of self, sense of safety, security, and well-being, leaving lasting emotional and psychological effects. Healing from trauma is a deeply personal, often difficult and non-linear journey. It is a process and not a one-and-done formula.

I have a hard-won knowledge of this process and the work required for healing, from personal experience and not only from a theoretic/ academic perspective.

My own traumatic past, growing up poor, under a communist regime and with an emotionally and physically abusive family, left a deep mark on my young person.

For more than two decades, I have been researching, studying, learning and applying different modalities for healing and building a better life for myself. Being so familiar with the landscape of trauma, I am deeply passionate in helping others navigate through their own experiences of adversity.  I intimately understand the courage it takes to confront the wounds of the past, and the transformative power of healing and self-discovery.

In my work as a trauma recovery coach, I use elements of the Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Somatic experiencing, NLP, the work on trauma of Gabor Mate and Pete Walker, Radical Acceptance of Tara Brach and spiritual learnings of Buddhism. I trained and have trained others in crisis management and suicide prevention. I hold an Associate Certified Coach accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I am a supporter and advocate of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PAT). Research has shown promising results for PAT in various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and addiction. Psychedelics have helped me on my healing journey and I have the privilege to be a sitter and facilitator for others in individual or group settings.

My wish for you: I want you to get your power and sense of agency back and to live a life of fulfilment, unashamed and unapologetic for your own choices and decisions.

Once you decide that you would like to work together, I meet you where you are, and together we explore your unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations for healing. We look at the mind-body-spirit connection, cultivate resilience, and uncover pathways towards greater peace. I will be there for you, to encourage you when the going gets tough, to inspire you and to provide the structure you need to do this work.

You are worth the work and I invite you to keep doing it!

With warmth and compassion,
